Home User Managed Support
We launched a new Remote Support and Monitoring platform for Home Users in December 2016.
Our business users have access to Sentinel which provides 24/7 monitoring for their computers and servers, we now have a slightly scaled down version for Home Users that will help protect you from some of those nasty threats that are out there and ensure that your computer or laptop just HUMS along.
So if you are looking for a way to reduce problems on your home computer then you will be able to download and install the latest monitoring tool. It has a help request built in! So long as you have internet access we will receive an email that will ask us to call you.
Managed Services Plans
We have added other managed services that include greater levels of support for your convenience and to save you a considerable amount of money on our normal charges.
There are 4 options available (full details below) but in simple terms the are:
Monitoring Only – On this plan we monitor the health of your computers key components and applications that protect your data; like, the health of your hard drive, the status of your anti-virus and your operating systems firewall. This plan is the cheapest at just £3 per month per PC. Subscribe Here Any remote support would be charged at £40 per hour (our normal fee is £60 per hour).
AV Plus Monitoring – This plan consists of everything in the Monitoring Only Plan as well as a professional Anti-Virus program. The Anti-Virus provides real time protection (checking each file that you open) in real time without any noticeable degrading of performance, runs scheduled scans of the whole disk drive and memory, protects you as you surf the internet ensuring you don’t get sent to a potentially dangerous website and allows us to protect your AV licence. This plan is just £8 per month per PC. Subscribe Here Any remote support would be charged at £40 per hour (our normal fee is £60 per hour).
Home User Managed – Includes everything in the AV Plus Plan and in addition provides for up to 30 minutes of priority remote support. This means that if you have any issues or problems then we will provide 30 minutes of support at no extra cost to you because it is included in the plan. This plan is just £18 per month per PC. Subscribe Here Any remote support would be charged at £35 per hour (our normal fee is £60 per hour).
Home User Fully Managed – Comprises of everything in Home User Managed one hour per month of remote support included in the plan. Obviously this plan is the most inclusive and is suitable for computers that are more than 18 months old. This plan is just £28 per month per PC. Subscribe Here Any additional remote support would be charged at £25 per hour (our normal fee is £60 per hour).
If the fault can not be diagnosed remotely a call out may be required. If you are not within our normal operating region then we can still help. We have a network of over 400 Technicians in 28 countries around the globe that we can call on to support you. So fear not…. We can get someone to you; however, a physical call out will not be covered by this plan and therefore you will incur additional costs.
Typical repair times: For the majority of faults we can diagnose and repair within 30 – 40 minutes. Should a virus at piece of malware get through (zero day viruses and malware can do that) then provided we can resolve the issue remotely there will be no charge for Home User Managed or Home User Fully Managed subscribers.
