So you like the sound of Sentinel, but for some reason you can’t put your finger on – you think it’s not the right choice for you. What you need is Remote Support plus a bit more.
Fair enough, if I was in your place I might take the 30 day trial to find out for sure, but lets say that the service is more than you are looking for, if only there was a simpler service that gave you some of the features with a lower cost.
Well besides Sentinel Pro, there is Sentinel Standard (contact us to find out how that works), and there is MRO – Monitoring and Reporting Only.
This uses the same monitoring and reporting software and provides you with the following monitoring services:
- Processor usage
- Ram usage
- Disk Space monitoring
- Login failures
- Network Traffic Monitor
- Unexpected disk space changes
Each month you will receive a report on alert activities and once a year you receive a network status report detailing all of your PC and Server Assets to assist in your asset management (accountants love this kind of thing apparently) plus a host of other monitoring options.
When an item goes out of tolerance we receive an alert and you receive an email advising you of the problem.
From there you can decide if you want to fix the problem yourself or if you would prefer us to provide you with Remote Support and resolve the problem. If you need us to resolve the issue you simply raise a Ticket in the support system and the next available technician will access the system and investigate the fault. Notice; unlike Sentinel Standard or Pro and unlike our Pre-Payment option, you do not get a priority response, but at least you don’t have to wait for someone to drive out to you (so long as you have an internet connection).
What does it cost?
The price structure is simple for the monitoring and reporting :-
£8 plus VAT Per Windows PC or Server per month with email and text alerts
£7 plus VAT Per Windows PC or Server per month with email alerts only
Other Costs – Remote Support
The only other costs are for our time if you choose to use us for Remote Support to resolve the problems. We have kept things as simple as possible.
First 30 minutes or part thereof; £25 + VAT (£30)
After the first 30 minutes you will charged £10 per 15 minutes or part thereof.
T’s & C’s
For new customers the first 30 minutes must be pre-paid. The remaining charges must be paid during the handover following the repair.
Existing customers will be charged and must pay at the end of the fault during the handover period.
